2 Weeks in development


Our second major update.

Its been 2 Weeks in development + 28h of Gamejam (referring to last Sunday. at midnight).

This update was focused on features, but this also fixed many bugs in the game.

Features in this update:

  • RICOCHET - now our ball companion bounces off walls with maximum angryness
  • Player Ultimate bar working
  • Player Jumps remaining indicator over his head
  • Player new attack Downkick
  • Player tornado kick now with better hitbox and new input 
  • Enemies will flash and be thrown away by hits
  • Enemies have a health bar (this was unexpected)
  • Enemy Shooter action animations
  • Enemy Spiked is now solid with damage and interacts with player, ball, enemies, projectiles
  • Particles Background prettier
  • Particles Player under progress

Fixes:

  • Player action scripts improved - actions have the right priority over each other
  • Player can cancel jumps
  • Player Kick doesnt make him fly forever
  • Player animations facing the right way improved in: wall grab, kick, dash
  • Companiong following script improved
  • Score system and UI improved
